STAIR SKETCHES

STAIR SKETCH IDEAS

This stair I had designed is made to look like its impossible to be standing. This stair will be placed on ground floor heading towards first floor above building.

This stair was designed to look a bit like a spine inside the building being the NOUN of CREATURE. It has quite a few sets of flights, but also has landings in which people can look over down onto the art work.

This stair will be placed inside the exhibition building above leading towards the artwork. It is made of wood to look organic.

This was just a basic sketch of a section of a concrete staircase.

STAIRS BY LUIS BARRAGAN

I chose this set of stairs, because I thought it was very interesting how it is designed. The first few steps are open, where after the first landing, the wooden steps create a different look, and also gives a sort of closure between the room and stairs. The stairs cantilevered bend into a wall which makes it much more safe.

SKETCHUP MODEL 1

These are just some perspectives of the first model I have created on Sketchup.
After talking to my tutor, I decided to change it a little bit and add a few more bits and pieces.

BEAUTIFUL IMAGES

RESORT IN THE PHILIPPINES

This was a shot taken of my friends and I at a resort some where in the Philippines. We travelled to many places in the Philippines to help others who are less fortunate, but this picture was taken on our Rest and Recreational Day where we swam, jumped off the cliffs and did different activities. I think this is a beautiful shot showing the scale of the rocks to the size of us.

JAMBEROO

This was a shot I had taken only a few weeks ago where we celebrated a friends birthday at Jamberoo. It was actually our first road trip together, and also our first outting together we had in a long time. I decided to skip this ride and take some photos.
The beautiful thing about this picture is that I captured them having a good time, hands in the air and the sun was out.

PATRICIA JAVIER

CREATIVE ART
Battle of the King - Art Major 2006

Picture taken by Patricia Javier

This was a painting I did for my year 12 art major based on the king of pop MICHAEL JACKSON. This painting is about his fans who looked up to him, and the people who judged him. I am a big Michael Jackson fan, which also helped me choose my idea.

GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE
The Prefab Home Office

This is an interesting little structure, which made an office look so much different to what we are used to. It completely blocks out distractions such as people, pets and noise. It is great for privacy and for a peaceful working environment.

SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
Defqon 1 Festival - 2009

Picture taken by Patricia Javier

This was a picture I had taken at Defqon 1 festival 2009 which happened to be the first day rave in Australia. The lit up structure was the main element and the main stage for performances, which was made out of so many different objects such as bathtubs, sinks and tyres. I thought this was such a magnificent piece of art, and at the end of the night, it exploded with fireworks!
